Together with the new 600mm f6.3 GM, it extends Sony’s high-resolution optics, XD Linear Motor autofocus and Optical SteadyShot into a new class of lightweight super-telephoto primes. By combining an f4.5 aperture with fast subject tracking and teleconverter support in a body weighing under 1kg, Sony has made G Master super-telephoto reach more practical to carry, quicker to reposition and easier to work with away from a tripod.
